TAKE A TOUR

Facilities

Courtyard Area -- Putting Green
The secluded courtyard area is a favorite oasis featuring a putting green, a shuffleboard court, and a gazebo, in a park-like setting with magnificent 100-year old towering oak trees.

Welcome to Roland Park Place! There's so much to show you and tell you about, whether you visit us in person, or are taking our virtual tour from the comfort of your home or office. We've organized this tour to introduce you to our facilities, floor plans, activity programs, services and amenities.

Facilities are comprehensive. You'll be surprised at all that is available within our 8-story building. Views are spectacular, whether you are gazing down to the Inner Harbor or enjoying the serenity of the courtyard. Most apartments offer spacious balconies or patios.

Grounds are beautifully landscaped, providing a peaceful, park-like setting, a secluded courtyard, and benches.

Parking areas on the grounds are well-lit for safety. Residents park in designated spaces, and valet service is available. Visitor parking is near the front entrance.

Security and Reception. The reception desk in our beautifully decorated lobby maintains 24-hour guest check-in and security are on staff after business hours and on weekends.

Dining Rooms

Dining Rooms. There are four dining rooms
in the building:
the elegantly appointed main dining room on the ground level with courtyard views and seasonal patio dining; the casual dining room located on the ground floor which overlooks a courtyard; an attractive residential care dining room on the second floor for assisted living; and, a dining room within the Health Care Center. Residents enjoy inviting friends and family members for meals prepared by RPP's own Dining Services staff. Whether it's for breakfast, lunch or dinner, a lavish Champagne Brunch, a special holiday meal, or a catered party, fine dining is an anticipated "event" at Roland Park Place.

Auditorium. The auditorium, adjacent to the main dining room, offers flexible space for a variety of daytime and evening programs. A multi-purpose room with moveable partitions is part of the completed Service Corridor Renovation Project and it provides additional space for the many programs that take place.

Margaret Bright Social Room. This comfortable lounge on the first floor is used for private parties, receptions, meetings, socializing, and weekly bridge games.

Stone Hill Studio. This beautiful new arts and crafts studio, which is heavily used, is larger than the previous crafts room in order to accommodate more people and a greater variety of activities.

Computer Center

Dot Com Center. In response to increasing numbers of residents who are using computers, or want to learn computer skills and applications, RPP has created a larger space for computers and instruction.

Otto Kraushaar Library. The Library has an extensive collection of books, magazines, newspapers, and other materials, and offers a comfortable place to read or work.

Petite Gallerie. A portion of the first floor hallway has been dedicated to changing art exhibits featuring works in a variety of media by residents as well as regional artists. This gallery space will be enhanced as part of the service corridor renovation project.

Fitness and Aquatics Center. Completed in September 2002, our new Fitness and Aquatics Center has been eagerly awaited by our residents. The pool is a lovely new amenity which offers residents a greater choice of exercise options, as well as other therapeutic, restorative and health promotion benefits.

Ambulatory Care Center. Located on the second floor, the Esther Jacoby Ambulatory Care Center offers services of internal medicine physicians, a certified registered nurse practitioner, and other specialists by appointment.

Rehabilitation Center. Services for physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech pathology are available in our on-site Rehabilitation Center.

Health Care Center. The state-of-the-art Health Care Center is staffed 24-hours-a-day with licensed nurses and certified nursing assistants (CNA's). Both skilled and comprehensive care are provided in a residential setting. In addition to resident rooms, the facility offers three multipurpose rooms, a dining room, covered and uncovered outdoor patios.
